I had already begun my college journey with my major in business. A friend of mine told me about an ACT program that could help me become a teacher. I entered an Alternate Certification Program to become a Texas Certified Teacher. Here I am 15 years later, teaching!

I have completed 5 years of teaching for Head Start. I worked with children ages 3-5 years old. I have taught 2nd for 8 years. Three years in General Education class. Five years in the Bilingual/Dual Language Setting. I taught one year in Third Grade. I have currently completed my second year teaching as a CO-Teacher for 4th Grade.

I offer private lessons and small group lessons. The initial meeting will be a needs assessment meeting. Goals will be created by parents and students. School assessments can be reviewed at this time to determine measurable goals.
Small group online lessons will also be offered to incorporate and promote oral language practices.
